Other Rules

Any other rules or information of note. (WIP; may change mind about both ammo tracking and encumbrance)

items, gear and inventory

encumbrance and coin weight

Standard encumbrance rules are generally in effect, but coin weight is not tracked.

ammo tracking

Both mundane and magical ammunition are tracked. You can generally recover half of the ammo you spent after a battle; just let me know that you're doing so.

spell components

Material components with a cost stated in the spell description must be paid for. It is preferred that you explicitly purchase any needed components ahead of time; however, for certain components that you could have purchased recently but did not, I may allow you to cast the spell anyway so long as you still have enough gold to afford the component you need, retconning things to say that the purchase did occur. I am more likely to allow this for common components (some holy water from the local temple for protection from evil and good) than for unusual ones (a gem-encrusted bowl or chalice for heroes' feast), so again, purchasing components ahead of time is highly recommended.
