The optional "Feats" rule from the PHB is in effect, so you may choose to take a feat instead of an ability score increase at appropriate levels. See Allowed Sources for more information.

Please ask before taking a racial feat for a character not of that race. Chances are that I will say no, but I'm willing to discuss it.

multiclassing

Multiclassing is permitted, but I will ask for at least some in-character justification for the decision. I would prefer that you discuss your multiclassing decisions with me ahead of time—you don't have to decide your entire character path/build right now, but if you do choose to multiclass later I'd just like a heads-up and a chance to come up with cool ideas for incorporating your multiclass into the story itself.

Multiclassing follows the standard rules and requirements (minimum ability scores, only gaining specific proficiencies from the secondary class, etc.). I may permit rule-breaking multiclassing if exceptional story circumstances occur and there hasn't been a chance to prepare for the prerequisites ahead of time, but this needs to be discussed first.
