House Rules


This section covers the various house rules, optional variants and other mostly-mechanical details of games I run. Note that all house rules are subject to change as I learn more about what works and what doesn't for me in general and for individual groups specifically.

In general, I try to run my games Rules as Written, with some adjustments where Rules as Intended obviously differ. Rule of Cool is also important, however. Sometimes the best thing for the story isn't supported by the rules, so we're just going to have to work around or ignore the rules in that instance.
